Later on, it was discovered that Juan was a drug peddler and was arrested for his attempt to sell and abuse drugs.
It didn’t take too long to uncover this secret as the police arrested Juan after two weeks of their marriage.
Police found out that he was trying to smuggle undocumented migrants, and he was sent to jail for six months.
Trust us, even though it is crazy enough, we are just starting to scratch the surface here.
Juan and Jenni went on to have children after serving six months in prison. However, the marriage was eventually brought to an end by divorce.
As by Redounds, after six years of divorce, Juan died in prison due to a severe pneumonic condition.
Juan Lopez or Juan Manuel Lopez Pardo was famous as a drug peddler. He was charged with various sections of drug abuse and the selling of drugs. Needless to say that he ended up in jail until he died from severe Pneumonia attacks in 2009.
But, who was Juan Lopez?
Above all, he was nothing short of a saviour for Jenni Rivera as she was suffering through a divorce.
After the marriage ended, Juan and Jenni’s positive vibes grew stronger. Although their friendship wasn’t something new, the feelings they shared were about to take a unique turn.
In 1997, both tied the knot and promised to stay with each other through thick and thin. However, the promise was revoked six years later, in 2003.
The couple had two daughters in the six years, Jenicka and Johnny. Things were later brought down to the divorce.
However, it didn’t stop Jenni from moving forth in life as she married a major league basketball player Esteban Loaiza in 2010.
It was her third marriage which was also to end up in a divorce. The reason? She accused Esteban of having an affair with their oldest daughter Chiquis.
But, before you start judging Esteban, it will be helpful to know that Jenni Rivera accused her first husband of the same thing.
Jenni supposedly “found out” that her first husband was sexually molesting their daughter Chiquis and Jenni’s sister. Considering the fact that Chiquis was Marin’s daughter, some may find it hard to believe that he had such inclinations.
Juan Lopez was found guilty of undocumented smuggling immigrants. The offence was too serious to ignore. Needless to say, Juan was sent to jail. He spent six months before getting out and resuming his marriage with Jenni. From this point on, they went on to have Jeneicka (daughter) and Juan Angel (son), otherwise known as Johnny Angelo.
It was a rough start for the couple as Juan was arrested only two weeks after the marriage took place. However, their love prevailed, and Rivera supported him through the six months.
Later down the line, Juan was charged with various sections due to drug abuse and selling drugs. At the time, no one knew that this was to be the last time Juan would ever see the prison again. Not because he’ll get his life back together, but because death drew closer to him.
During his time in jail in 2009, Juan began to suffer from severe Pneumonic conditions. The situation got worse with time. Unable to survive any longer, Juan passed away due to this disease in jail.
Juan Lopez’s illegal occupations were powerful enough to bring everything to an end, including his own life.
There is no doubt that Juan’s direction in life was deeply affected by the divorce.
After they parted ways, Jenni went on to marry for the third time. On the other hand, Juan remained busy until he was finally caught attempting to sell and abuse drugs.
As for Jenni, the third marriage also ended up in a divorce as she accused her husband of sexually molesting Chiquis, their eldest daughter.
But time was running short on Juan’s clock. At the age of 37, he was suffering from severe pneumonic conditions.
His condition became too severe for him to handle. He died while he was in prison on July 14th, 2009.
