Luann de Lesseps, a star on The Real Housewives of New York, recently posted two photos of herself in a pink gingham bikini.
However, some individuals made body shaming and ageist remarks. They said she was too aged to wear a two-piece.
On Tuesday, the 57-year-old replied to one of the comments that said, “Way too old boo!!!!!!!!” in an Instagram Reel, speaking in the video, “I’m proud of the fact that I can still rock a bikini at this age. Women should be able to wear whatever they want at any age as long as they feel right.“

Luann’s response received many comments of support from friends and fans alike. She stays sober and committed to a healthy life which reflects in her spirit.
Last October, she discussed on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live how her healthier lifestyle aided weight loss and sobriety.
She credited her lifestyle for allowing her to remain sober, taking a “holistic approach” that includes eating well, keeping fit, meditation, and yoga. “That’s so essential to me, and it keeps me grounded,” de Lesseps added.
Her response to the body shaming comments shows that she is confident. She believes that women should be able to wear whatever makes them feel good.
