Heidi Montag Pratt and Spencer Pratt, who first met at a nightclub while Montag was filming The Hills, have recently celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary.
The pair have had a long trip together. They started it in Nov 2008 with an improvised ceremony in Mexico, followed by a bigger ceremony in Pasadena, California, in 2009.
The couple married three years after they met. Their relationship played out on the screen for six seasons of the hit MTV series.
Heidi, 36, marked the landmark with a sweet photo of their wedding day on her Instagram Story. “Happy 14 year anniversary, @spencerpratt,” she captioned. “It’s been a dream.”
Spencer, 39, then reshared the post on his Instagram Story, acknowledging the special occasion. The Hills alums’ anniversary comes five months after they welcomed their second son into the world in November.
A representative for the parents informed authorities in a statement at the time, “Both baby and Mom are happy and healthy!” They counted that the pair’s little one was born at 11:31 a.m., weighing 7 lbs. and 9 oz.
The following day, Heidi presented their newborn son and exposed his unique moniker, “Ryker Pratt,” in a Snapchat post that covered the newborn’s face with a blue heart emoji. She also shared his weight, which was 7.9 lbs.
The Couple’s Two Sons
Despite encountering challenges in their connection, including a brief break in 2010, the couple expanded their family to include two sons, Ryker, 5 months, and an older son Gunner, 5 years.
They have also grown in their relationship and strengthened their bond over time. In a 2019 interview with sources, Pratt reflected on their journey together.
He said, “When we started, it felt like everyone was trying to break us. But here we are, ten years later. The [best] thing we ever did is be together.”
