Kieran Kyle Culkin, the middle child of Kit and Brentrup, was born in N.Y.C. on Sept. 30, 1982. In 2018, he told Vanity Fair that, like Macaulay, he had no contact with his father.
Kieran gained recognition as a member of HBO, earning nominations, such as supporting actor at the Golden in 2020 and 2021.
Rory Culkin
Rory Hugh Culkin, the youngest child of Kit and Brentrup, was born in N.Y.C. on July 21, 1989.
He began acting as a child, often portraying younger versions of his brothers’ characters in films like Richie Rich and Igby Goes Down.
Rory also had notable roles, starring opposite Laura Linney in You Can Count on Me. He also appeared in Signs with Mel Gibson and Joaquin Phoenix.
His later film credits include The Zodiac and Scream 4. His TV credits include Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Under the Banner of Heaven.
Recently, Rory gained attention for his full-frontal nude scene in Prime Video’s cult series Swarm.
This was based on creator Donald Glover’s experiences after a one-night stand. Rory married cinematographer Sarah Scrivener in New Orleans in 2018.
Dakota Culkin
Dakota “Cody” Culkin, born in N.Y.C. on June 15, 1978, was the second child of Kit and Brentrup.
She pursued a career in film production and served as an art production assistant on the 2009 film Lost Soul.
Tragically, at 29, Dakota died in 2008 after being struck by a car in Marina del Rey, California.
Quinn Culkin
Quinn Culkin, born on Nov. 8, 1984, in N.Y.C., is the third youngest child of Kit and Brentrup. Initially, she pursued acting, working on two films, Wish Kid and The Good Son, alongside her brother Macaulay. However, her acting career was short-lived.
Shane Culkin
The eldest child of Kit and Brentrup, Shane, was born in 1976 in N.Y.C. He portrayed the Wally Webb character in Our Town on Broadway at Lincoln Center Theater in 1988.
Although he occasionally appears publicly, Shane prefers to keep a low profile.
Christian Culkin
Christian Culkin, born in 1987, is the second youngest child of Kit and Brentrup. He appeared in the 1994 film My Summer Story, starring alongside his brother Kieran. He has no other credited acting roles.
Jennifer Adamson
Jennifer Adamson was the half-sister of Macaulay Culkin. She was born on June 27, 1970, in N.Y.C. She was Kit’s eldest child from a previous relationship with Adeena VanWagoner.
Tragically, at 29, Jennifer Adamson passed away on May 20, 2000, due to a drug overdose at her Home in Missoula, Montana.
