Dr. Charles Stanley is a well-known religious figure who has greatly impacted the Christian religion. He was born on September 25, 1932, in Dry Fork, Virginia. At 12, he had a newfound faith in Christ, and at 14, he started his life’s work in Christian ministry.
Dr. Stanley graduated from the University of Richmond with his undergraduate degree before earning his master’s from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and his doctorate in theology from Luther Rice Seminary. Career
Stanley began working for the First Baptist Church of Atlanta in 1969, and two years later, he was appointed senior pastor. In 1977, he launched In Touch Ministries to strengthen the local church and guide individuals into a closer connection with Jesus Christ.
In 1972, he founded a Christian TV program called The Chapel Hour. In Touch has been dubbed into 50 languages and shown on the Christian Broadcasting Network since 1978.
Almost 500 radio stations, 300 television stations, and numerous satellite networks, such as The Inspiration Network and Trinity Broadcasting Network, carry In Touch in the US.
In Touch magazine, a website with Stanley’s sermons and other audio and video content, is among the ministry’s publications. And into them, and the range of the target. From a Living Bible he owned, Stanley took the moniker In Touch for his ministry.
Stanley’s teachings and broadcasts tackle finances, parenthood, personal difficulties, emotional concerns, relationships, and Protestantism.

To help the audience better grasp the sermon via the queries of the average listener, Stanley invited Lisa Ryan to co-host a question-and-answer session titled “Bring It Home” in 2005. Once Ryan’s involvement with the segment ended in 2006, Stanley continued.
Beginning in January 2007, Stanley started incorporating his “30 Living Principles” lessons into the final portion of the In Touch TV and radio shows.
