After releasing her debut song with Argentinian record producer Bizarrap, Shakira has received various responses online.
The song refers to her breakup with player Gerard Piqué and his relationship with lover Clara Chiá.
Even though not everyone appreciates the lyrics, Piqué’s mother gave the Colombian singer social media backing for a limited time (12 hours). Perhaps on purpose or not, Montserrat Bernabeu ‘loved’ two tweets.
Whereas Montserrat, a physician at the Institute Guttmann in Spain, is famous for preserving the confidentiality of her private life, she looked to concur with the musician’s supporters. The song’s lyrics were hinted at in the first post.
The Spanish translation of the tweet says, “I’m sorry, but he wrecked his image himself, and he is the one to blame.” “He lost his career because he thought everyone would be on his side,” the author continued, adding that “he fell in love with somebody else, however the way he behaved was wrong.”
BZRP’s Tweet
In a matter of hours, BZRP’s tweet gained over 700,000 likes, including those of Piqué’s mother.
The athlete’s mother chose to unlike the messages after Shakira’s supporters noted that she had liked the tweets, but so many internet consumers already had captured screenshots.
The Colombian pop artist also makes references to “Pique” and “Clara” in the song, saying, “I’m too large for you; therefore you’re with someone who is like you.” I would not get back to you, although if you cried or begged me, chew and swallow this, so it doesn’t hurt.
