Louisiana police are still investigating the puzzling death of Nathan Millard, a father of five from Georgia who disappeared during a business trip and was found dead more than a week later, rolled up in a rug.
Millard was last seen in Baton Rogue’s downtown area on February 22 and was found deceased less than two miles from where he was last spotted.
A preliminary autopsy report revealed no internal or external injuries, leaving authorities uncertain about the circumstances surrounding his death and how he ended up in the location where he was discovered. Despite this, police currently have no evidence of foul play.

Who Last Saw Nathan Millard?
After attending an LSU men’s basketball game with a client on February 22, Millard visited a pub in Baton Rouge and left around 10:30 p.m.
While it was initially thought that he headed back to his hotel, surveillance footage showed him at a Greyhound bus station about an hour later.
A security guard offered to call an Uber for Millard, but he declined and was left alone. Authorities could trace his movements to different businesses in Baton Rouge for several hours.
However, they did not disclose his last known whereabouts to the public as it is part of the ongoing investigation.

According to the Associated Press, Millard’s body was discovered on Monday morning in the 2900 block of Scenic Highway, less than two miles from the Greyhound bus station.
The body was wrapped in plastic and a rug and found behind a funeral home that was no longer operating. Millard hailed from Covington.
Report On Nathan Millard’s Autopsy
The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office conducted a preliminary autopsy on Millard’s body and found no signs of trauma.
However, the final autopsy report, pending the results of toxicology testing, will determine the cause and manner of death.

The police are conducting an ongoing investigation into Millard’s death and do not suspect foul play.
They seek to speak with individuals who had contact with Millard before and after he was last seen and determine who may have placed his body where it was found.
