The female golfer ranked Number. 1 wed her partner of two years, Chung Jun, at Myeongdong Cathedral in the capital, Seoul.
Photographs of the couple’s wedding were posted to Instagram today.
Ko said on the Henni & Hally: Women with the Game podcast in October that she popped the question first.
“It’s quite challenging. He then engaged me after I had already committed to him. Why does this man have to offer, I questioned “She spoke.

Ko said in Korea, and it’s common to set a wedding date before the actual proposal.

She said Chung, Hyundai Card vice-chairman Chung Tae’s son, surprised her by popping the question during their engagement photoshoot.
“It was awesome. It surprised me. He began discussing dates, how long we’ve known one another, and other numbers.
I briefly wondered, “Why then are you flinging digits at me?” before realizing what was happening.
The event brings Ko’s extraordinary happiness. In 2022, she had her first mega year since 2016, taking 3 victories on the LPGA Tour.
She received the largest champion’s check in women’s soccer history $2 million for her most recent victory, the CME.

She earned the Vare Cup for best point total and was named Player of the Year. So she received a slew of additional awards to display after the game’s conclusion.
