In September of last year, Isabella Pollok, a former Sarah Lawrence College freshman, signed a guilty plea in the Lawrence “Larry” Ray sex cult case. Larry received a 60-year prison term on Friday.
Lewis Liman, a federal appeals court in Manhattan, called Ray an “evil genius.” He has been charged with controlling his daughter Talia’s friends socially, psychologically, and physically.
Pollok admitted to just one charge of conspiracy to transfer funds. She acknowledged participating in the sex trafficking operation.
Isabella Pollok: Who Is she?
According to reports, Isabella Pollok is Larry Ray’s closest ally. Age-wise, she is 31. She attended Sarah Lawrence College in the past.
She is Cynthia Pollok’s daughter. The sentencing for Pollok is set for February 22, 2023, at 11 a.m.
Federal investigators charged her in 2021 for allegedly planning to prey on everyone else at Westchester County’s Sarah Lawrence College alongside convicted sex-cult leader Larry Ray.
Pollok was charged with assisting Ray in running an “enterprise which recruited a group of undergraduate students… for propaganda and criminal exploitation,” per the charging documents.
She First Met Ray In 2010
She first met Ray in 2010 when he had been released from a prison in New Jersey and immediately registered in Pollok and his daughter Talia’s classes at Sarah Lawrence College.
She shared Ray’s influence with several of Talia’s friends and roommates throughout the following ten years.
By the time Pollok became Ray’s “trusted sidekick,” she was manipulating her friends, including her roommate, sexually and mentally, first as he won their confidence and then when he took advantage of them.
He threatened and physically assaulted the youth and demanded they pay him several hundred thousand dollars using cult leader tactics.
