Eva Marcille, a Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member, has submitted the necessary paperwork to initiate divorce proceedings with her spouse Michael Sterling.
After being married for over four years since their wedding in October 2018, the couple has decided to separate.

Eva Describing Her Marriage As “Irreparably Broken”
On March 23, the 38-year-old actress in Fulton County, Georgia, submitted the necessary paperwork, describing her marriage as “irreparably broken” with “no chances for a reunion.”
According to Marcille, “One of the most difficult decisions I’ve ever had to make, but also sometimes life leads you in a way you weren’t prepared for. The eight and a half years we have shared are forever loved, and our kids will always come first. At this time, we kindly ask that you maintain our privacy.”
As per the submission, the Atlanta-based lawyer and the TV personality reside in a genuine state of separation.
The Couple Shares Two Children
The couple shares two children – Michael Sterling Jr., who is 4 years old and was born in 2018, and Maverick Sterling, who is 3 years old and was born in 2019.
Additionally, Sterling plays a paternal role in Marcille’s 9-year-old daughter Marley Rae’s life, who she had with her former partner, Kevin McCall.
The winner of America’s Next Top Model season three has filed for primary custody and legal rights over their children, along with requesting child support from Sterling, which would include medical and dental expenses.
Marcille has also requested a fair distribution of all joint assets and liabilities and maintaining ownership of her property.
The Couple Began Their Relationship In 2016
The couple began their relationship in 2016, engaged in December 2017, and exchanged vows on an episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta. Both shared their love on Instagram with fans and said:
