Shakira attacked her former lover Gerard Pique with her newest song, which DJ Bizarrap of Argentina produced.
Whenever the nearly four-minute dance-pop song was released, the Colombian singer came across as more confident than ever.
In the song’s lyrics, she makes fun of the player and his new girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti.
The Popular Song In Spanish
The song, which was first made popular in Spanish, also included frenetic dance and singing by Shakira.
She may be heard singing, “I’m not coming back with you, don’t weep for me, nor implore me,” in the song’s lyrics. She claims she realizes “they criticize you” is not her responsibility. I only create music; sorry if it hurts you, Shakira adds.
Shakira further sings that “you left me the in-laws as my neighbors” and also that “media outlets were at my door” while also claiming to be “in debt,” seemingly providing a glimpse into the pop star’s circumstances following the adultery scandal. The musician from Colombia claims that although “you thought you hurt me,” “you strengthened me.”
“Women don’t feel anymore, they pay in,” adds Shakira. Shakira and Bizarrap collaborate for the first time in Session “#53.”
For the uninitiated, the singer first met player Gerard Pique around 2010 while filming the video clip for “Waka Waka,” the official FIFA song of the year.
They afterward dated for ten years. Pique and Shakira are parents of two kids. She left him, though, after learning that her ex-boyfriend had cheated on her a year earlier.
According to rumors, Pique was having an affair with actress Clara Chia Marti.
