Paddy McGuinness expressed his pride for his ex-wife, Christine, as she aired her documentary on her autism diagnosis entitled “Christine McGuinness: Unmasking my Autism.”
The 34-year-old model spoke candidly in the documentary about her decision to separate from Paddy after 11 years of marriage following her autism diagnosis. She also shared her experience of being raped as a teenager and her subsequent trauma.
The couple, who have three children together, Penelope and Leo (nine years old), and Felicity (six years old), all of whom have autism, were making a documentary about living with autism when Christine was diagnosed.
Paddy took to Instagram to share a picture from the documentary and praise Christine for raising awareness about autism, particularly in women.
Although the couple confirmed their split in July, they still live together in Cheshire and focus on providing their children with a stable and loving home.

Christine revealed that she chose to stay with Paddy despite being unhappy because she did not want her family to fall apart. As an autistic woman, she prefers to stay where she is comfortable, and change can be challenging.
Christine and Paddy’s arrangement has been described as amicable, with Christine admitting that the thought of eventually co-parenting in separate houses is something she will struggle with. The couple’s focus remains on their children’s well-being and happiness.
