Justin Bieber Was diagnosed With Ramsay Hunt syndrome
In June 2022, Justin Bieber announced that he had been diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which occurs when a shingles attack involves the facial nerve near one of the ears. The singer shared a video on social media explaining the diagnosis’s physical impact.
He noted that the virus attacked the nerve in his ear and facial nerves, causing paralysis on one side of his face.
Justin also pointed out that he couldn’t smile on one side of his face, and his nostril would not move.
Bieber Had Cancel Numerous Shows
In the video, Justin also mentioned that he had to cancel several shows on doctor’s orders, as he needed to rest and recover from the diagnosis.
He stated that his body was telling him to slow down, and he would use the time to rest, relax and get back to 100 percent so he could do what he was born to do.
While addressing his fans, Justin remained optimistic and said he would eventually overcome his diagnosis.
He mentioned doing all the facial exercises necessary to get his face back to normal, and he hoped it would return to normal.
Justin also shared that he trusted God and believed everything was happening for a reason, although he wasn’t sure what that was. Despite the uncertainty, Justin remained positive and said he would rest.
