After 2 years, Fox personality Charissa Thompson and her spouse, sports agent Kyle Thousand, are divorcing.
According to court records acquired by The Blast, Thompson sought a divorce on April 19, citing “unresolved issues” as the cause of the separation.
Thompson claimed in the filing that she and Thousand split up a year after their December 30, 2020, wedding, based on the website.
According to reports, Thompson, 39, is asking that both spouses’ spousal support be terminated and each pay their legal bills in the divorce.
There are no children between the ex-couples.
In a private ceremony, Thompson wed Thousand in Scottsdale, Arizona. Given the previous COVID-19 limitations in California, they moved the wedding to Scottsdale.
Thompson Also Serves As A Contributor
Thompson, who also serves as a contributor for “Extra,” talked about the “intimate” wedding in an appearance just days after marriage.
“Today was wonderful. Sadly, COIVD prevented us from inviting everyone, but we did not want to put off starting our lives together a little longer, Thompson said in February.
She even made jokes about having kids with Thousand in the future.
“I’ll continue using my last name. When we have children, I suppose I should alter my last name, but then that seems like a lot of work. He isn’t ugly. We’re going to ensure they have a chance to fight back, at minimum with his wits and looks, because I want to give my kids a strong gene pool, added Thompson, who observed that perhaps the pair seemed to have no honeymoon planned but vowed there will be a party whenever the pandemic is over. When you have married again, the second one will always be greater than the first one, Thompson said in a jest.
Thompson was connected to former NBA player & present ESPN commentator Jay Williams in 2013.
The “NFL Kickoff” show, which airs on Sunday mornings, is now hosted by Thompson, a long standing host.
Along with her buddy Erin Andrews, the top NFL color commentator, she co-hosts the podcast “Calm Down.”
Thousand is an attorney and sports agent who worked extensively in corporate law.
Neither Thompson nor Thousand have spoken publicly about their divorce. The ex-couple seem to have deleted any evidence of their relationship from their Instagram profiles.
