A “heartbroken” Costeen Hatzi wrote a supportive note to her lover Nick Kyrgios on Monday after he pulled out of the Australian Open because of a foot injury.
Hatzi, whose name has been connected to the Australian tennis player since 2021, wrote via her Instagram Story that although “heartbroken,” Kyrgios “needs to perform what is good for his condition.”
A day before his scheduled match against Roman Safiullin of Russia, Kyrgios, who recently reached the Wimbledon championship match and the knockout stages of the U.S. Open, provided more details about his selection to withdraw from the competition.
Naturally, I’m upset,” declared Kyrgios, struggling with such a tumor on a minor bulged disc on his left knee.
“To be truthful, I’m simply worn out from it all and clearly really brutal. Among the most significant competitions in my lifetime. It certainly hasn’t really been simple,” he added.
“This stings, to all my supporters, I will indeed be back better,” Kyrgios wrote in a post on Instagram on Monday.
A Fashion Blogger From Sydney
A fashion blogger from Sydney named Hatzi commented on Instagram, saying, “The return will be greater than before.”
Hatzi has been Kyrgios’s supporter for the previous year because she has traveled with him to events worldwide.
She even supported Kyrgios after he lost to Daniil Medvedev of Russia in the first stage of the 2022 Australian Open.
Hatzi exclaimed via Instagram in January 2022, “So proud of you.” “Managed to play an amazing tournament; I still think you won.”
