Reese Witherspoon Siblings: Reese has only one brother, John D. Witherspoon. However, Betty Witherspoon, a nurse, and John Draper Witherspoon, a military surgeon, gave birth to Laura Jeanne Reese Witherspoon, better known as Reese Witherspoon, on March 22, 1976, in New Orleans, Louisiana.
