JuJu’s Smith mother, Schuster’s Sammy Toa Schuster, has been a pillar of strength and support in his life. Sammy split up from Lee Smith when JuJu was a young child, and she later met Lawrence. Before getting married in 2000, the pair dated for a period.
JuJu and Sammy’s relationship goes much beyond the typical mother-son dynamic. As Sammy says, “We get along well together. It’s simply that I have a different relationship with each of my children. I want to say that I am like that with all of my kids. We are quite near.” Their relationship is closer to a friendship than just a conventional family bond.
Sammy cherishes her deep bond with JuJu and is extremely protective of her kids. Sammy has a lengthy history of dedication and hard work. She was born on October 19, 1976, and earned her high school diploma from Compton in 1995.

JuJu Smith-Schuster Early Life
John Sherman Smith, often known as Juju, was born in Long Beach, California, on November 22, 1996.
He attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School, where he participated in sports as a wide receiver and safety.
Juju played football in Snoop Dogg’s youth league while still in high school, where he was coached by the well-known rapper, who gave him the nickname Sportscenter.
Juju continued his study after graduating high school by enrolling at the University of Southern California. Interestingly, he had originally planned to go to Oregon but changed his mind.
On the football field, Juju excelled while he was a student at USC. He appeared in 13 games in 2014, compiling 54 receptions for 724 yards and 5 touchdowns.
He started games the next year and ended each with 89 blowouts for 1,454 yards and ten touchdowns in 14 games.
He played 13 games and had 70 receptions for 914 yards and ten touchdowns in his final season with the Trojans.
Numerous NFL organizations were interested in Juju because of his football prowess and great stats while playing for his collegiate squad.
