Cam’ron, whose real name is Cameron Ezike Giles, was born in New York City’s Harlem on February 4, 1976. Cam’ron Giles, raised by his mother, Fredericka Giles, went to the Manhattan Center, where he became a friend of Jim Jones and Mason “Mase” Betha.
