Sydney McLaughlin is an international American hurdler and sprinter. She had recently broken a world record by reaching the final ribbon in just 50.14 seconds.
Sydney McLaughlin is the little sister of Taylor McLaughlin. She has reached the final ribbon by following her elder brother, sister, and parents. At the age when babies learn to speak, McLaughlins mastered hurdling and running.
Taylor is also a runner and hurdler and has won a number of awards. He could also run in this field, but he chose both, and he managed to run holding the robots. He is a mechanical engineer and robot researcher.

His Early Life
The robot lover guy was born in a runner family, where all his parents and siblings, and I think even his neighbors and pets are professional hurdlers. He was born on 3rd August 1997; calculating his age resulted in him being 25 years old.
The runner was raised by some passionate people who are his parents. He was born and raised in Dunellen, New Jersey, United States.
Taylor seems to be very passionate about his life and goals. He is such a disciplined and hard-working guy that he manages his sports and studies side by side.
He is a runner son of his runner parents and runner brother of runner siblings. His parents, Mary Neumeister McLaughlin and Willie McLaughlin, were former runners and were very passionate about it.

His Athletic Family
When athletes marry athletes, they are rewarded with more athletes. Taylor is a runner and hurdler; his specialty is 400m relays.
Well, his entire family is into running on tracks; they are not remembered as the McLaughlins now but are known as the athlete family.
His mother, Mary Neumeister, is a former runner who studied at a Catholic Regional High School. She used to run half a mile in 2:12 seconds. The lady runner was trained by Calvin H. Walker, who was there to coach the boy’s team.
His mother, a young runner, wanted to excel in her track, but she could not due to scarce resources. To stay close to her profession, she became the manager of the boy’s track.
Then there is his father, who met his mother on a track as a student. They dated for a short time and then got married. Willie McLaughlin was also a young racer who had been running since school.
Willie studied at Orange High School, Essex County, New Jersey, United States; he ran for his school. He was such an ambitious man that he set a goal to be an athlete, and he did it!
Willie was a semifinalist at the Olympic trials in 1984 in the 400 meters track. Running was not his passion but also his life-saving angel.
Now you must be curious why was it so? Well, he had a genetic disease of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy. And yes, running saved his life as it is the best cardiac exercise.
His father became seriously ill several months before Sydney’s Olympic run. His heart suddenly stopped pushing blood, and he had to get his heart transplant quickly. Because of this specific reason, Sydney’s parents couldn’t see her running live.
His Siblings – Athletes
Moving towards his sister Morgan McLaughlin, it felt like it was in their genes to run on the track. Morgan is the family’s eldest daughter, who ran for St. Peter University, and many others at her school times.
But this first McLaughlin’s child gave up his running career for her love for art. She then graduated in arts from Middlesex College and works as a recreational assistant at Parker Life org.
And then is Taylor himself, a gold medalist at Tokyo Olympics 2020. The robot guy is a professional athlete at New Balance. He also reached the first position in the 400m in Big Ten Championship.
He has competed on many tracks including the New Jersey boys Gatorade Male Track Athlete in 2015, the competition at Miami Hurricane and at Michigan he competed in the U.S Junior championship, and many more too.
In 2016 he competed in the great IAAF World under-20 Championship and won a silver medal in 400m hurdles. This runner robot guy has competed in uncountable tracks.
Sydney Mclaughlin is only 23 years old and has achieved more than her age. Her parents and elder siblings inspired her, the runner family has received unlimited medals. Moving towards her awards and prizes, she has many of them.
She also received the first position in the Tokyo Olympics Games (2021). It looks like she is habitual of holding her first positions and again stood first in her World Championship in Doha in 400m hurdles.
She maintained her post in the World Youth Championship, Colombia. She performed remarkably and scored first in NSAF Nationals 2014 in 400m hurdles.
These are not all of her achievements, and it’s only a quarter of the whole. Her recent immense achievements are breaking her own record of 51.14 seconds by creating a new one of 50.8 seconds.
Moving towards his youngest brother Ryan McLaughlin was born in 2001 in New Jersey. This little boy is an energetic young athlete passionate about running with his elder siblings and parents.
He ran 110m hurdles for the Union County Track and Field Championship. He ran many tracks, including 4×400 meter relays and 400-meter hurdles. These young ones do not lose hope and are never ashamed to try again.
An Award-Winning Sister
Winning awards and receiving medals is part of the family’s routine. It seems as if getting a new award would not excite them anymore, but no! Adding a new award to their shelf is the family’s favorite thing to do.

The robot lover guy loves to research robots. It seems as if a major part of his romance is with his robot.
He loves to know and make robots so much that he could not choose between running and studying. So managed the opposite fields efficiently and never ignored any for the other. To study robots, he studied hard at Michigan College of Engineering.
He then mastered his skills by getting a Master’s degree from Southern California in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering in Dynamics. Hearing such heavy terms may give you trauma, but the runner boy completed these excellently.
