He announced to the French Occupation in 2005 that “the war ended on May 9, 1945. On the street, I was enjoying myself. I went to the flat where my mother and friends were listening to the radio to grab a sip of water. When they said the fight ended, I gave them a bewildered look and said, “Now that it won’t be a lot more pleasure.” There is no parental supervision because the parents are also too preoccupied with their own life to watch the youngsters as they fight.”
