Tyler James Williams, the star of Abbott Elementary, has won a Golden Globe award.
On Tuesday, Williams won the Best Supporting Actor award in a Television Series after losing out on the Emmy in September.
The actor, who played the role of elementary school teacher Gregory Eddie in the hit comedy, has never been nominated or won anything.
For his big night, he chose an Amiri casual navy double-breasted pinstripe jacket and matching pinstripe pleated trousers.
“Just wow. I’m not blind to the gravity of the situation,” Williams stated as he took the stage to accept his prize from Jennifer Coolidge of The White Lotus. “I want to begin by expressing my gratitude to my cast and crew in particular. I adore you all. It’s a pleasure to collaborate with you each day.”
