Newly released court documents have revealed that IT consultant Nima Momeni fatally stabbed CashApp founder Bob Lee following an argument about Momeni’s sister, Khazar Momeni, who is married to plastic surgeon Dr. Dino Elyassnia.
According to legal filings, Lee’s killing was planned and deliberate, with Momeni driving Lee to a secluded area in San Francisco and stabbing him in the heart three times.
The murder occurred after the two spent the evening with Khazar and another witness, discussing whether Lee was “doing drugs or anything inappropriate.”
Although the witness was unclear whether Lee and Khazar shared an intimate relationship, Lee assured Momeni that nothing was happening between them.
Court documents also revealed that Khazar texted Lee around his death to check on him and thanked him for handling the situation with class.
Khazar and her husband, Dr. Elyassnia, appeared in public for the first time at the San Francisco courtroom, surrounded by reporters and photographers, but declined to speak to journalists.
