Jodie Foster’s mother, Evelyn, was born in the Bronx, New York, also known as Brandy, and spent her formative years in Rockford, Illinois.
She completed her education at St. Mary’s Academy in Milwaukee and then moved with her girlfriend to Los Angeles in the 1950s.

Jodie Foster’s father, Lucius, died from Alzheimer’s disease on October 8, 2016, and was estranged from his daughter. He passed away a few miles from Jodie’s former mansion, which she had sold just a couple of weeks before his death.
According to his death certificate, Lucius died from cardiopulmonary arrest and Alzheimer’s disease, and The newspaper reported that he was living on just $153 a week and died penniless.
