Jeremy Renner is treated in a serious condition at the hospital after falling into problems while removing snow from his Lake Tahoe property.
The 51-year-old Hawkeye star was brought to a Reno hospital and described as being in a “severe but fair condition.”
Around nine o’clock on Sunday, January 1, the sheriff responded to a single “traumatic injury.” It stated that the Serious Accident Investigation Specialists were investigating the circumstances of the tragedy but gave no further details.
Renner is in serious condition, as stated by a spokesman for the actor, who has been nominated for two Oscars.
“We can affirm Jeremy is in critical but fair condition with wounds,” the Renner spokesperson said in a statement to The Daily Journalist.
“Jeremy was injured earlier in the morning shoveling snow when he encountered a rain and wind disaster.”
The Hurt Locker actor bought his property in northern Nevada, close to the Mount Rose ski resort, almost eight years ago. On 6 acres of property, he keeps a cabin made of stone and wood.
Renner Snowfall Photos
Before the event, Renner posted images of snowfall close to his property, describing it as “no joke,” and labeling it so. In one picture, a sedan was completely coated in snow.
His Lake Tahoe home, which he has described as a “horsepower pasture,” is home to his strong vehicle inventory, including various fire equipment.
They were collected by the actor, who works as a firefighter, even during COVID seclusion, so local firefighters might use them.
“I’m using firefighters for towering roofs and for securing my neighbourhood, all the people up there,” Renner said in a statement to Men’s Health.
“I was 100 feet from a hydrant that was surrounded by 30 fire trucks. Not because they’re there to battle fire, but because they all could.”
Renner participates actively in the Mountain Rose community. He has participated in the community’s “Buy with the Sheriff Day,” when locals buy Christmas gifts for less fortunate families.
He has distributed clothing and food to the needy on Celebrations alongside his daughter Ava, age nine.
“It’s awesome, guy. I’m reminded of my childhood home in this area. It brings to mind my family and home. He talked to the Reno Publication in 2019.
“Everyone is content and friendly, and there isn’t any transportation or contamination of the water or the air. It’s a really great place, in my opinion.”
