Twitch mother has spoken out for the first time since Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss passed away. In her first Instagram story, Connie Boss Alexander shared her first statement.
Connie wrote alongside a photo of tWitch as an infant, “Family and friends, thank you for all the love, prayers, and encouragement. Please know I see all the messages, posts, and the phone calls. I can’t use words right now. Please know I will reach out when I can. Please continue to keep us in your prayers,” Connie began.
After that, she addressed her son directly, “Stephen Laurel, your mother loves you to eternity and beyond.” She called him “my boo boo.”
The tragic death of Stephen ‘tWitch’ Boss at the age of 40 was previously reported by Mamas Uncut. A coroner has confirmed the cause of his death, according to People.
tWitch died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head at a “hotel/motel,” according to the coroner’s office. According to TMZ, tWitch checked into a motel just a mile from home he shared with his wife and children on Monday, December 12.
He wasn’t visibly distressed, according to those who interacted with him at the hotel. TWitch was scheduled to check out of the hotel room on December 13 and had a small bag with him.
tWitch was located after his wife, Allison Holker Boss, contacted a local precinct to express her concern. It was unusual for her husband to leave his car at home when he was gone, but she told officers that he had never done so.
Shortly after Allison arrived at the precinct, they received a call reporting a shooting at the motel TWitch was staying at. According to reports, one of the hotel maids found him in the bathroom of his room.
According to TMZ, no gunshot was heard during interviews with staff. It’s reported that the hotel has “separate units, and the structure is in a U-shape” thus minimizing noise.
He was found dead at approximately 11:15 a.m. PST at the scene. As of now, the coroner has labeled the investigation into his death as “closed.” No further information has been made available to the public.
In a statement issued to the press on December 14, Allison Holker Boss confirmed the passing of her beloved husband. The couple had been married for 9 years, celebrating their ninth anniversary just four days ago.
“It is with the heaviest of hearts that I have to share my husband Stephen has left us,” Allison began her statement. “Stephen lit up every room he stepped into. He valued family, friends, and community above all else, and leading with love and light was everything to him. He was the backbone of our family, the best husband and father, and an inspiration to his fans.”
