On the fine night of the 12th of June 1994, two bodies of Nicole Brown and Ronald Goldman were found outside Nicole’s apartment building in Los Angeles.
Both of them were brutally stabbed multiple times to death. O. J., as stated above, became the prime suspect in these murders.
But why particularly O. J. Simpson? Because according to the police, he had the strongest motive to kill her ex-wife.
I’ll just leave this here for a moment and give you quick background information to understand this whole scenario better.
O. J. has married twice so far. His first wife left him because of his disloyalty towards her. It is reported that while Simpson was still married to Marguerite (his first wife), in 1977, he began dating Nicole Brown, who was a waitress at a nightclub named Daisy.
Apparently, Marguerite either tolerated this for two years, or she didn’t know at all. Anyways, two years later, in 1979, Marguerite got divorced from O. J. Simpson.
His divorce didn’t affect their relationship, and they kept on dating each other for six more years until eventually getting married in 1985.
They stayed together for about seven years; in 1989, Nicole Brown accused O. J. of spousal abuse; he denied the accusations against him, obviously.
