She was born on the 8th of March 1971 in Columbia, South Carolina, USA. She is of Caucasian ethnicity, and Pisces is her zodiac sign.

Well, that’s not the case with Troy Dendekker because her parents are David Newton (father) and Robin Newton (mother).

Troy’s husband and famous musician, Bradley Nowell, stepped into the music industry in 1981. He was Californian, too, by the way.

And then a new decade began. Nine years after officially becoming a musician, he was at his prime in the industry. He was doing live shows, concerts, and tours all around California, mostly.

He fell in love with her at first sight, and since Bradley was a wealthy, famous, and handsome guy, Troy couldn’t resist falling in love with him either, as any girl wouldn’t.
They both got into a good and healthy but unofficial relationship soon after seeing each other. They used to hang out, eat together, spend time, and everything; you know the drill, right?
Dendekker was impregnated with Bradley’s child in the October of 1994. Several months later, a son was born to Troy and Nowell, whom they named Jakob James Nowell.
However, it is pertinent to mention here that they still weren’t married. So, the couple decided to make it official.
On the 18th of May 1996, in Las Vegas, Troy Dendekker and Bradley Nowell tied the knot. Troy was 25 years old at the time, and Bradley was 28.
It was a perfect wedding with a Hawaii theme. But, as you all know, right when life seems to be going the way you want it to, something is about to go down, something worse.
That is what happened with Troy. Did I tell you that Bradley was a heroin addict? He used a lot of heroin – other drugs as well, but primarily, heroin.
It was the evening of the 25th of May 1996; it had been seven days since his marriage with Troy. He and his band members were staying in a hotel during a tour.
He was taking a lot of heroin that night in his room, and heroin got overdosed. At the time, only his dog was present in the room with him.
He was found lying on the floor with a yellowish substance coming out of his mouth, which was clearly indicating it was because of a heroin overdose.
Bradley was rushed to the hospital, but he had already died in his room before being found. He was 28 years old at the time of his death.
And, do you know what’s the funny yet sad thing here is? Troy Dendekker found her on tour, and she lost her love on tour.
Aftermath Of Bradley Nowell’s Death:
After becoming a widow from a marriage that lasted for only a week, Troy’s media presence began declining. It was pretty logical, by the way, as all the limelight she had, was because of her late husband.
She, along with her son, Jakob James Nowell, disappeared for some time. However, Troy and Bradley’s son, Jakob, had other plans.
He refused to live a life without passion. He decided to carry on with his successful father’s legacy; Jakob became a singer and musician as well.
Troy was done living alone. So, she began dating and then married another actor & model, Kiki Holmes, in 2002, six years after the demise of her first husband.
It has been more than 20 years since Troy and Kiki’s marriage. Together, they are parents of two daughters and one son, and one adopted son of Kiki, Jakob James Nowell.

- Because her husband died from a drug overdose, she is tirelessly working on campaigns addressing drug addiction issues.
