Early Life
Hailing from Wheat Ridge, Colorado, Paige Spiranac was born to a Croatian descent family on March 26, 1993. Her father, Dan, was a football player in his college and was a member of the 1976 Pittsburgh Panthers national championship college football team. Paige’s mother, Annette, was a professional ballerina.
Paige has one older sister Lexie who is pursuing a career in athletics. Due to her talent and hard work, Lexie earned a college athletic scholarship, and she was competing on Stanford’s track team.
Coming from an athletic background, Paige always saw herself as an athlete and wanted to become an Olympic gymnast. Her passion and love for gymnastics earned her an invitation from Karolyi Ranch for further training.
During practices, Paige’s fellow gymnasts bullied her due to hair conditions, but she never gave up on her dreams. However, Paige’s little dream was crushed when she had a kneecap injury during her gymnastics practice at 12. Unable to pursue a career in gymnastics, Paige shifted her focus to golf and started playing golf.
As a home-schooled student, Spianac split her time between Scottsdale, Arizona, and Monument, Colorado, to train for golf.

Junior Golf
In a short span of time on Colorado’s junior golf circuit, Spiranac won five tournaments in seven tries, including the 2010 CWGA Junior Stroke Play, which paved her way to become one of the top-20 junior golfers in the world. Out of all three competitions, her best score of the year was a 73, shot twice during the Windy City Intercollegiate.
After her sophomore year, the talented player transferred to San Diego State University. During the 2012-2013 season, Paige received a fifth-place finish at the Cal Classic and a 19th-place finish at the NCAA Central Regional Championship.
She completed her Season with Aztecs’ first Mountain West Conference Championship in school history. In an Interview, Paige shared her thoughts about the Aztecs’ first Mountain West Conference Championship and said it was “one of the absolute happiest moments of my life.”
Professional Golf
Social media sensation Paige started her professional career in 2014-2015 when the organizers of December’s Omega Dubai Ladies Classic of the Ladies European Tour (LET) invited her to be a guest starter of their tournament.
During this time, Paige was pretty famous on social media, and the organizers were hoping that her appearance at the tournament would grab the public’s attention. Unfortunately, she did not perform well at the tournament.

Ambassador of Cybersmile
In 2017, Paige became an ambassador for an organization called Cybersmile. This non-profit offers global support and educational programs to tackle cyberbullying.
As a young girl, Paige was bullied for having a health problem that affected the growth of her hair. Because of this, she became committed to this cause.
Being a victim of bullying, Paige is very vocal about cyberbullying. While appearing on Golf Digest’s episode of “Be Right” she said,
It was really hard because when people would come at me, it was about my golf game,” she said. “As we all know, your ego is so tied into how you play, and publicly for people to be like ‘You suck, you need to quit,’ that was really hard for me and I took it very personally.
She further added,
My early interviews I talked a lot about cyberbullying, and I was kind of dealing with other things behind the scenes, so I was a big advocate for that. Things have progressed where I’ve stopped playing professionally and now social media has become my career. It was hard because now I want to have a ‘hot take,’ but sometimes it comes at the expense of someone else, and not in a way that’s bullying. Now I’m tweeting stuff about players, and it’s funny, but I would get so upset about that before [if it were me], but it’s not really bullying. I was just soft. I was a huge baby. You do have to have a good sense of humor; you have to be able to laugh things off.
Relationship Status
Despite her popularity on the social media platform, Paige likes to keep her private life hidden from the prying eyes of the media. Currently, she is married to the love of her life, Steven Tinoco, a former baseball player.
In 2017 Paige shed some light on her love life and told her fans about her soulmate. According to Paige, she met her future husband while playing junior golf. At first, he was not interested in her. She said,
He’s in a relationship and I’m engaged. I flirted with him in junior golf but he rejected me haha been mending a broken heart since then.
The couple took to Instagram to announce their engagement in 2016. In 2018 Paige finally tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend, Steven Tinoco. The couple doesn’t have any children yet.
Recently on the latest episode of “Playing A Round podcast,” she explained why she keeps her life private and said,
I get this question a lot, and I refuse to answer that and I have my reason.
I think a lot of people think I don’t talk about it because of my business, and if I say that I’m with someone or I’m married, then I’ll lose male followers, and that’s actually not the case.
I am so open and honest about everything in my life, as you guys can tell from the podcast, that I want something to myself, and having a public relationship is very difficult.
And as soon as you make it public, you’re giving everyone the right to ask questions and you have to then answer them.
