The star of Pose appeared just on the Golden Globes 2023 red carpet in a customized Christian Siriano tuxedo outfit that was a nod to his legendary Oscars ensemble.
The Pose alum stunned on Tuesday while visiting the 80th yearly Golden Globe Oscars in yet another amazing costume.
For the celebrity to deliver at this year’s event, he went to artist and friend Christian Siriano, who made a custom tuxedo gown in vivid fuchsia color.
At the biggest Hollywood events, Porter, 53, is renowned for his eye-catching fashion ensembles.
Nevertheless, he recently admitted that realizing his complete capacity as a fashion star would take time.
What He Remarked In October 2021?
In October 2021, he remarked, “I’m not a drag queen, but I never thought Billy might play with both the masculine and the feminine within my fashion silhouette.”
His participation in Pose became a factor that influenced Porter to start messing with fashion.
The former FX series, which was set in the 1980s and 1990s and aired between 2018 to 2021 over three seasons, centered on a group and LGBTQ+ defining individuals who were involved in Nyc City’s ballroom scene.
Pose occurred, at which point he thought, “Well, if there’s any arena where the character I’m portraying embraced the options of becoming gender flexible on the red carpet, that would be the play,” he said. “This must be done right away. And in that way did it develop.”
The most daring and unique ensembles Porter has ever worn include his Oscars tuxedo gown and his Egyptian-inspired Met Gala ensemble.
Porter asserted that it “is not just about me putting on a gown just on the red carpet. Really, it’s not a dress. That which I’m aiming for is balance. However, the outcome of the discussion is in doubt.”
