Fans were astonished by a new eyeshadow pallet from the metal band Korn.
They worked with HipDot to develop a beauty item to commemorate the debut of their legendary Follow the Leader album, published 25 years ago
Since then, internet users have used social media to show enthusiasm for surprise goods.
On August 18, 1998, Korn published their third album, Following the Leader. In just four years, they bought over five million books.
After selling 7 million copies in the United States and over 14 million globally, it quickly became the band’s most well-known record.
The band produced an eyeshadow palette with eight distinct hues to commemorate the iconic record.
Each hue has a name corresponding to a particular LP song. Korn’s 2.8 million Instagram followers were informed on their company page.
Only the official HipDot site is selling the band’s debut eyeshadow palette.
Sadly, the palette had already run out.
Fans Can Register On The Site
Fans can register on the site to receive notifications when the palette might be restocked. Consumers could “sign up for the resupply” by clicking on a link on the official HipDot site.
On their Instagram pictures, the nu-metal band encouraged followers to join up for future news on the palette. “Sign up for the resupply at the link in articles,” they said in a remark.
Some followers could join up and gain access to HipDot’s newsletter, but others reported experiencing technical difficulties because the sign-up link was broken.
When internet users learned about the newest products, they were astounded. Many people found it hard to comprehend that a metal band could market makeup.
