Last year, fashion brand H&M had collaborated with the famous Indian fashion house Sabyasachi and had announced that their bridal couture was about to hit the stores worldwide. Still, unfortunately, the launch had been facing delay due to the pandemic.
But the good news is that the wait is finally over! The H&M X Sabyasachi collection will finally make it to the stores on August 12.
The Sabyasachi official account on Instagram posted a clip of their collab with the caption saying, “The wait is finally over!”
This collection is named Wanderlust and is a modern take on the classical boho chic. The collection includes both men’s and womenswear and aims to present a mix of India’s rich traditions with a modern touch to give a boho feel.
In a statement, Sabyasachi said,
I’m happy to announce the new date for the collaboration with H&M, as it gives us the opportunity to spread the Sabyasachi aesthetic to a wider audience in India and worldwide.
Due to the complexities of the COVID-19 situation, we had to put the collaboration on hold, but I’m eagerly looking forward to launching this ready-to-wear collection that will bring relaxed sophistication to everyday life in an understated yet glamorous style.
The collection consists of floral dresses, kaftans, handbags, purses, and many other accessories for women. While for men, the key pieces are the photographer jacket, Henley shirts, high waist chinos, and many more.
According to the Sabyasachi official account, “The collection will be launching on August 12 in selected stores and online at hm.com and Myntra.”
