Disneyland

In its entire history Disneyland, last year in March 2020 announced to get closed due to Covid-19 but in 2021 instead of reopening the parks for the public Disneyland resorts have become the vaccine site for the coronavirus.

Disneyland first announced to reopen on its 65th anniversary, July 17 but due to lockdown, it did not manage to reopen then was expected to reopen in October but again remain closed.

What will be the situation after reopening?

Even if parks get allowed to reopen then still they will not be fully open the parks with a capacity of 15000 visitors will be minimized to 25 percent only and the public has to make reservations. However, the Downtown Disney shopping and dining area were allowed to reopen in July.

Disney World was allowed to reopen in July with proper social distancing and SOPs. Disneyland canceled its annual pass holder program on January 14 while it will develop new membership offerings and those who are “Legacy Passholders” are enjoying discounts for shopping and dining. Disneyland’s closing has not only affected visitors but also has unemployed 28,000 of its employees.

Four Walt Disney World Theme Parks are open while Water Parks are expected to reopen in March 2021. To enjoy at Walt Disney World Theme Park you will need to reserve valid admission and face-covering which is essential.

After arriving:

After you arrived at the park first you have to temperature screened and then security screened. You can enjoy other areas but Water Parks are still closed and expected to reopen soon like other areas with the same SOPs.

Some experiences are paused:

To maintain social distancing Parades and nighttime spectaculars, Character Greetings, and Playgrounds are temporarily paused but everything and every area will be reopened soon.
