A crucial game between the Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals was suspended and then postponed by the National Football League after Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin experienced a heart attack while making a tackle on Monday Night Football.
The game soon lost importance following the tense incident in front of a large television audience.
During our game against the Bengals, Damar Hamlin experienced a heart attack due to a hit.
On the field, his heartbeat was recovered, and he was then taken to the UC Medical Clinic for more examinations and care, according to a release from the Bills early on Tuesday.
He is presently under anesthesia and is rated as critical.
In a terrifying scenario, 24-year-old Hamlin was given CPR on the field for almost ten minutes. Hamlin was encircled by teammates, who kept him hidden from view.
While Hamlin was being handled on the pitch by the team, outside medical experts, and nearby paramedics, many people were sobbing and praying. He was then transported to the University of Cincinnati Medical Clinic by ambulance.
The NFL had declared it had stopped the game soon after the ambulance departed the field.
After Hamlin was transferred to a hospital, the NFL made a statement about his condition; however, neither the club nor the hospital provided any additional information about Hamlin’s health.
The team’s message was public before its flight’s late Tuesday return to Buffalo.
Regarding the game’s future path, there was no information available right away.
What Happened To Damar Hamlin?
The Bengals receiver Tee Higgins was tackled by 6-foot-tall, 200-pound Hamlin while the play appeared ordinary and not particularly aggressive.
On a 13-yard pass from Joe Burrow, Higgins was carrying the ball when he led with his shoulder blade and struck Hamlin in the chest.
Later, Hamlin looped his hands over his shoulder and helmets to drag Higgins down.
Hamlin suddenly rose to his feet and appeared to fix his facial mask with his right hand before falling backward and remaining immobile for about three seconds. The building fell around 8:55.
