According to reports, Babyface Ray was detained on Tuesday (Dec. 20) in Pontiac, Michigan. Because of outstanding charges, the 31-year-old was brought into custody.
The rapper was reportedly operating a BMW when it started breaking down and obstructed the road, according to the official police investigation.
When the police arrived to investigate, they started to run the Detroit artist’s Identification through the database and discovered he was wanted on three misdemeanor arrest warrants: unauthorized carrying a firearm, driving with a revoked license, and missing a court date related to his child’s legal dispute.
The Oakland State Prison then visited with him.
Around two o’clock on Tuesday, Babyface Ray posted on his Instagram story, “Website bloggers are very tired that have nothing to update,” before carrying on as regular on his social media channels.
