Alex Reid and his fiancée Nikki have openly discussed their issues with conceiving their baby and revealed that Nikki had seven laborious surgeries during their seven-year-long fertility treatment.
Alex and Nikki had their first child, a miracle baby, as the couple faced fertility problems. They began dating in 2013, and they announced in November 2020 that Nikki was pregnant with twins.
Unfortunately, due to their severe fertility issues, they lost one of the twins to a miscarriage in December. But they revealed the happy news of their baby girl arriving earlier this week.
The couple shared the first adorable picture of their baby girl holding Nikki’s finger and wrote a cute caption, “Welcome to the world, little miss Reid.”
Dad Alex, the former Big Brother star, introduced the baby girl to the world and revealed her name, “Anastasia Pixie Reid.” He also shared a series of pictures and videos of his daughter’s arrival into the world via a planned cesarean section at Barnet Hospital in London.
He shared with his fans that both the mum and baby are safe and healthy; also, mama Nikki has been discharged from the hospital after four days of being in hospital care.
He added a heartfelt note saying that he is finally so happy. They’ve been trying this for seven years, and now their miracle baby has arrived in the world. He’s proud of both of them. He also expressed with joy that his little family is complete now.
The new mother also took to Instagram and said that having this baby is worth all the wait. The parents are beaming with joy. Nikki also expressed that she finally feels complete after the long wait of seven years and that his baby girl is so worth the wait. She said that she finally had her happily ever after.
Nikki got her fertility treatment from Harley street fertility clinic, and she thanked them for their incredible support and care.
From the beginning, the couple had been candid about their issues regarding conceiving and fertility. The fans know about the tragic six miscarriages Nikki had when she started trying for a baby. She finally hit the milestone in April and revealed the good news to her fans.
