On January 2, 2023, Marisia Burton was found alive after mysteriously disappearing while working at Disney.
However, Orlando-born Marisia Burton, a 19-year-old cast member at the Walt Disney World Resort, was missing on December 22, 2022.
According to reports, she was last seen in Disney’s staff home in Flamingos Crossing points East in Winter Garden, Florida.
One of Burton’s coworkers reportedly stated that the youngster told her sister she would much rather leave the intern program than get fired for missing an entire day of work as soon as the news of her absence broke.
Burton’s fellow Disney College Program interns (CPs) shared on social media that failing to show up for work at the Disney College Program without a good reason could result in dismissal, albeit the material has not been independently verified.
A Reddit Person
One Reddit person added that as soon as Burton’s missing report became public, other CPs began asking about Burton.
“My child has CP. She spent a year there in 2019 and has been there for nearly a year this time,” explained the user. “As immediately as she saw the flyer, she contacted me.”
The group’s CPs began to enquire to learn as much as possible to assist. People then began to notice several problems with the story.
They also claimed that Marisia Burton’s abduction had peculiar situations:
I find it strange that none of the young woman’s coworkers, housemates, or supervisors have commented.
The outfit she is sporting in the posted photo is from Hollywood Studios, even though they said she works in quick service at Caribbean Beach.
More lately, after Burton reportedly entered a Houston police station with an unidentified male and requested that her name be removed from the missing person’s list, Burton’s relatives expressed potential worries about human smuggling.
Using social media, Marisia Burton’s aunt revealed that her niece had been spotted at the police precinct with a “strange dude” who reportedly told Burton to “come here asap!”
A further assertion made by the aunt was that she thought her niece was being smuggled to Mexico:
She is a victim of trafficking! Anyone who can make it to 2202 St. Emanuel Houston, Texas, should do it to prevent this man from stealing her. I tell you, she’ll be in Mexico if he goes with her!”
