Kiko Mizuhara or Audrie Kiko Daniel, born in Dallas, Texas, in the United States. She is the older of 2 daughters born to Song Pal-Choong (better known by her Japanese name Yae Toyama, a Zainichi Korean from Nagasaki, Japan) and Todd Mason Daniel (an American from Texas).
Her younger sister, Ashley Yuka Daniel, also works as a model under the name Yuka Mizuhara. At the age of 2, Mizuhara and her family moved to Tokyo and then to Kobe, Japan, when she was 3 years old.
However, at 13, her parents divorced, and her father returned to the United States.

In 2002, Kiko Mizuhara’s modeling career took a significant leap forward when she emerged as the winner of a contest hosted by the fashion magazine, Seventeen.
As the new Miss Seventeen, she became an exclusive model for the magazine and graced its pages for the next three years.
With her sights set on further advancing her career, Mizuhara, at the young age of 16, bravely relocated to Tokyo, where she lived alone, separate from her mother and sister, who were based in Kobe.
