A lady stabbed an Indiana University student, age 18, many times on a bus close to the campus, sending her to the hospital.
First officers were sent to a bus stop at W. 4th Street and the B-Line Trail on Wednesday at about 4:45 p.m. because of reports of an attack with wounds.
An initial inquiry suggests that an Asian university student from Carmel, age 18, stood up to leave the vehicle when one woman approached her.
She Felt Acute Pain As A Woman
She felt acute pain as a woman, 56-year-old Billie Davis, started repeatedly hitting her in the head.
Davis got off the bus and started to flee.
Before she was arrested, a spectator on the bus pursued Davis on her feet and gave responding police officers updates on her movements.
The hospital’s medical staff discovered the victim’s head to have many stab wounds.
According to court records, Davis acknowledged picking on the kid because of her color.
Davis is accused of aggravated violence and attempted manslaughter, both level 1 felonies.
