Who is Julie Yaegar?
Julie Yaeger is a well-known celebrity who is a screenwriter and producer. She is also the wife of Paul Rudd, and so part of her fame is also due to her relationship.
But unlike her husband Paul, she likes to work behind the camera – where creativity takes place.
Julie Yaegar has also worked on Men In Black and Mr. Jealousy and served as a producer in The Suite With Dave Krager back in 2005.
She is also famous for her role as a writer of a comedy movie, Fun Mom Dinner. The movie was released in 2017. Its core message was to appreciate mothers all across the globe for the amazing job they perform.
Julie Yaeger herself is a mother of two children and knows the hardships and challenges mothers contend with every day. When the movie was released, Julie was only 49 years old.
Julie Yaeger was born in New York in 1968. She remained in her hometown and attended Whitesboro High School – something that Paul couldn’t do when he was growing up.
Not that Paul Rudd didn’t get a degree or wasn’t able to complete his education – he and his family were constantly shifting and moving because of his father’s Airline job.
Now back to Julie Yaeger.
After attending Whitesboro Highschool, Julie enrolled in Saint John Fisher College and chose Marketing and Strategic Communication as her major.
Having her expertise in marketing, Julie Yaegar started working for Bella’s event planning. Then she moved on and joined the Good Way Group as a Digital Marketing Coordinator.
Why She Made The Fun Mom Dinner?
The movie’s storyline features four mothers who only have one thing in common, their kid’s preschool class. These mothers decide to go out on a “fun mom dinner.” The tagline of the movie reads, “Every Mom Deserves A Timeout”.
Fox 5 New York asked Julie Yaegar and Naomi Scott about the movie’s name, “Is this a Fun Mom Dinner or A Fun Mom Dinner?” Needless to say that Julie was surprised at the question.
The interviewer further clarified, “is this a fun mom or fun dinner for moms” to which Julie Replied, “You know what? in the case of this movie, it’s definitely both.“
She added, “they are fun moms for sure, and the dinner is fun too. So...” Naomi added, “it works on two levels“.
Julie also told us about the movie’s genesis “, And I think part of the genesis of the movie was I found myself in the group of amazing mom-friends that I made through my kids…“
She further said,
“…and I was completely, you know, surprised at how much they came to mean in my life. I never saw that coming… Talking about the chemistry she had with other moms, she said, “and I found myself in a group where I felt really understood and appreciated, and it was an amazing thing.” After having that experience, her thoughts were “and in my head, I thought I wanted to write something that celebrated, you know, just that feeling..”
To Julie, that feeling is worth appreciating. But why?
Let’s look at how she explains that
“…and how much that helped my mothering almost taking a break sometimes with my friends made me better. It helped me to realize that stepping away for a second to recharge is good for me, it’s good for my kids, and it shows the sort of importance of taking just a little bit of me-time cuz if we don’t stop and sort of appreciate the hard work that we’re doing then why would anybody else? We have to be the first ones that recognize how hard the job is and that it’s okay to go on a fun mom dinner.”
She further added, “If you put a bunch of great women together, it’s not about being catty and gossipy, the way it’s portrayed a lot of the time.”
She further added, “It’s really about appreciation and support and just loving on each other and having a great time, and that’s what happened.”
She further emphasized the support she received while filming “You know, the movie that we were setting out to make and but that’s also what happened while we were making the movie.”
Julie Yaegar’s Husband, Paul Rudd
Paul Rudd is an American celebrity who is recognized for his sound acting skills. He has appeared in notable movies and TV series and earned himself a good living throughout his career.
He might be living the life of his dreams today. But things weren’t always so smooth and easy for him. He and his family had to constantly shift because of his father’s job when he was growing up.
Paul’s father worked in an airline, causing him to stay on the move constantly. However, the family eventually settled in Overland Park in Kansas.
His mother was a working individual, too; she worked as a sales manager for “KSMO-TV“, a TV station.
The good thing is that constant shifting and moving around didn’t cause Paul to sleep on the importance of education. Instead, he pursued his education on an even higher level.
Paul Rudd graduated back in 1987 and then enrolled at the University of Kansas. He chose theatre as his major there. Now it’s not a surprise that Paul Rudd, Julie Yaegar’s husband, absolutely loves theatre.
Here’s what Paul says about Theater:
“Theater is the most enriching and thrilling thing to do as an actor. It trumps movies and all that other stuff. People say, “You must love the instant feedback,” and we’re all attention who**es for sure – that’s why we choose this profession. But it goes beyond that: There’s something magical about the shared experience in a theatre, with actors and an audience. I don’t know if the audience members realize just how huge a part they play in a production. How they determine how we are, and when it all works, it’s magical.” – from Paul Rudd’s Bio.
After Julie Yaegar’s husband, Paul Rudd completed his education; he made his debut around 1992.
Let’s take a look at his career highlights from the year 1992 to 2000.

Then in 1996, he starred as Alex in The Size of Watermelons and as Dave Paris in Romeo + Juliet. And here’s an interesting bit about him: During the shoot of Romeo + Juliet, co-star Leonardo DiCaprio said that he had been considering the offer of taking the lead in Titanic.
Paul had already failed to land a role in Titanic, but it didn’t stop him from giving an honest opinion, and he urged the actor to not miss out on the opportunity. The rest is history.
