Evans, born in Newcastle on April 25, 1985, grew up with a younger sister named Jane and a younger brother named Tom, who plays the bass guitar.
He played his first show when he was 13 years old and joined a local rock band, Extortion, which became Solver after winning a high school band competition in 2002.
Tom played bass guitar, Nicholas Cook played drums, and Evans sang lead and played guitar. At the MusicOZ Awards in 2006, the group was named Artist of the Year and Best Rock Act.
Evans won the Road to Tamworth competition in 2007, signed with Sony BMG, and his debut EP, “Big Skies,” was released in September of that same Year.
After releasing two more EPs in 2012, “Live Each Day” and “While We’re Young,” Evans won the 2013 CMC Music New Oz Artist of the year award.
Evans’ self-titled debut studio album debuted at number 20 on the ARIA Albums Chart in March 2014.

Morgan Evans Personal Life
On December 2, 2017, Evans wed Kelsea Ballerini, a US country pop singer-songwriter, in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. On Christmas Day of the same year, they got engaged.
However, Ballerini announced that the pair were divorcing on August 29, 2022. Eventually, it was revealed that the pair reached a divorce settlement in November.
