Lizzo showed off her impressive dance moves in a TikTok video on Tuesday. The clip featured the singer dancing to P. Diddy’s hit song “Shake Ya Tailfeather”. She wore a blue tie-dye string bikini, a pink swim cap and oversize black shades.
She was on a collection deck with the St. Louis Gateway Arch in the location, just hours before her concert at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis. Lizzo transferred the video, writing, “Here before it went viral.”
Lizzo commented on Tennessee’s drag performer legislation at her Knoxville show.
She asked a group of pain artists to join her on stage for a dance. She said, “Why would I not come to the people who need to hear this message the most?” Lizzo then obtained her line of drag entertainers on stage, including several who have competed on RuPaul’s Drag Race.
The Singer Posted Her Dance Video On Twitter
The singer posted her speech and the dance on Twitter, thanking the performers for showing their pride in Tennessee. Tennessee’s anti-drag bill, nicknamed the “Tennessee Drag Ban,” was enacted in March by Republican Gov. Bill Lee.
The proposed legislation aims to prohibit “adult cabaret performances” on public property to protect children and has penalties for violators.
Tennessee is the foremost state to enact such legislation, but GOP-led state legislatures are considering almost a dozen similar bills. The bill was blocked by a federal judge in the state earlier this month.
