Bryan Shelton Ethnicity, An American Former Tennis Player

Bryan Shelton was born in the United States of America on December 22, 1965. As of 2023, Bryan Shelton’s ethnicity is unclear.

He is a former professional tennis player from the United States who now coaches college tennis.

Shelton competed for Georgia Tech from 1985 to 1988 before turning pro in 1989 and continuing to play until 1997.

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jacket women’s tennis team had won the NCAA Women’s Tennis Championships in 2007 after he returned to his old institution to serve as its coach.

He serves as the team’s head coach for the University of Florida’s Gators men’s tennis team.

In his first year as Georgia Tech’s head coach, his team advanced to the NCAA tournament’s second round, knocking off the No. 25 Washington Huskies before losing to the No. 9 UCLA Bruins.

In 2002, 2005, and 2007, he received the ACC Coach of the Year award.

His 2007 squad claimed the third consecutive ACC Championship for the Yellow Jackets.

On May 22, 2007, they defeated UCLA in the NCAA Women’s Tennis Championship finals to claim Georgia Tech’s first team championship that the NCAA recognized.

On March 23, 1992, the right-hander attained his greatest singles position on the ATP Tour, moving up to number 55; on February 28, 1994, he attained his highest doubles position, 52.

Inducted in 2006, he is a member of the Huntsville-Madison County Athletic Hall of Fame.

Shelton was appointed the new head coach of the Florida Gators men’s tennis team on June 8, 2012, according to a statement from the University of Florida.
