Reeves, the actor from John Wick: Chapter 4, was seen at a signing event of his comic book series, BRZKRK, in Los Angeles. The tape captured Reeves talking to a 9-year-old fan named Noah. Noah said that Reeves was his “favorite actor in the whole world.”
After presenting themselves, Reeves asked Noah if he had seen Duke Caboom, a character he voices in Toy Story 4. Noah excitedly confirmed that Duke also was his “favorite character,” and Reeves spoke one of Duke’s lines.
Reeves’ animated display of Duke’s catchphrase “Canada’s Greatest Stuntman!” delighted Noah. Reeves was thrilled to join Toy Story 4 and connected instantly with his character Duke.
Reeves said Duke’s physicality was crucial, and he couldn’t stop doing stunts even while talking.
Bob Pauley, the film’s production designer, shared that Duke was a stunt guy from Canada, just like Keanu Reeves, who loves motorcycles.
Reeves Touching Encounters With His Young Fans
Reeves has had several touching encounters with his young fans, including one that TV producer Andrew Kimmel shared on Twitter.
Last June, Kimmel tweeted that Reeves was on his flight from London to NYC, and a boy asked for an autograph and asked him a series of quick questions.
According to Kimmel, Reeves happily responded to every question.
After the exchange, Kimmel transferred a selfie he took with Reeves and named him a class act, saying little moments like this can make a big difference in people’s lives. Kimmel concluded that the world needs more Keanus!
